A New Année

2012 was a good year.
My beau and I got wedded, bought a house (er, condo), and made a handful of great, snazzy friends in this uber fun city of ours.
My mom moved to Austin this past year, and she has fully, fabulously settled into her new Texas life. For that I am endlessly grateful.
So what to do in 2013?
I plan on reading more books and eating a lot less of this…
A bit of a bummer, since this kind of food always comes in the frilliest, most enjoyable down-home restaurants…
Nope, it’s more salad, leafy greens, veggie juices and whole grains for us.
Meh.
…Thank gawd for “cheat” days.
